イギリスでは少し遅れて秋に人気が火がつき、以後87年には映画「００７／リビング・デイライツ」の主題歌を担当するなど、90年以降も安定的な人気を誇った。

デビュー当初こそアイドル的な見られ方が多かったが、実際はソングライターのポール・ワークターや、キーボード担当のマグスの才能はイギリスでも非常に高く評価されている。またヴォーカルのモートン・ハルケットのハイトーン・ヴォイスも人気が高い。
